Abstract

The newest trend in dentistry is a different look at the organs of the dental system, considering teeth, muscles and joints as a single whole and striving to create a harmonious relationship between them. Just recently, few people knew about the neuromuscular concept in Russian dentistry, but today several educational centers, manufacturing companies and professional associations, which include dentists, use and promote the neuromuscular approach in the treatment of dental patients.
