Abstract

Analyzing the monitoring of Russia on the epidemiology of dental diseases over the past 10 years, we see that the indicators of the stomatological morbidity of the entire population have significantly changed towards its growth as a result of environmental degradation, an increase in the level of occupational hazards in production, adverse effects due to the amount of pesticides, nitrates and other chemicals, the consequences of the Chernobyl accident, bad habits,migration of the population (forced relocation),the spread of infectious diseases,a decrease in the level and scale of dental care to the population (primarily children and adolescents) in conditions of need for dental care.
