Abstract

This article examines the clinical and morphological features and risk factors for the development of pulmonary lesions in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Based on the analysis of medical records and images of 300 patients served in clinical institutions from 2019 to 2022, major morphological changes in the lungs, including interstitial disorders, fibrosis and granulomas, are identified. The study highlights the importance of RA duration, rheumatoid factor and anti-CCP antibody levels, and the degree of arthritis activity as significant risk factors for developing lung complications.

The results indicate a correlation between high RA activity and deepening of pulmonary changes, which underlines the need for early diagnosis and a comprehensive approach to treatment. Developing personalized medical strategies and integrating the efforts of rheumatologists and pulmonologists can significantly improve patient outcomes by reducing the severity and frequency of lung lesions. This study expands our understanding of the mechanisms of pulmonary pathology in RA and provides a basis for future clinical protocols.
