Abstract

Alcohol belongs to the group of harmful habits that have a detrimental effect on the human body, causing its damage when it is in proportion to the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, which then leads to diseases of the mucous membrane. The harmful effects of alcohol on blood vessels are known to everyone. If the blood supply to the oral cavity is disturbed, the permeability of the mucous membrane epithelium increases, it is easily damaged and infected. The sensitivity of oral tissue to various carcinogens increases. There is a clear relationship between alcoholism and leukoplakia, dysplasia, the appearance of neoplasms of the oral cavity.
