Forensic Aspects of the Duration of Injuries in Intracranial Hemorrhages
Main Article Content
Abstract
One of the most pressing problems in forensic medicine at present remains the determination of the time of formation of intracranial hemorrhages, which occur both in traumatic brain injury (TBI) and in cerebrovascular diseases (CVD). The following types of intracranial hemorrhages are distinguished: epidural, subdural, subarachnoid and intracerebral. The mechanism of their occurrence is different and has been studied in depth both in craniocerebral injuries and in acute cerebral circulatory failure.
