Abstract

For many years, the most difficult and urgent problem of surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery has been the treatment and prevention of pyoinflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region. Odontogenic infectious and inflammatory diseases are the most common reason for patients seeking dental surgery. Of the acute odontogenic inflammatory processes for which children are hospitalized in a hospital, the most often stated are: periostitis of the jaw, abscesses, phlegmon.
