Histomorphological Changes in the Femoral Head after Covid-19 Infection
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article presents the results of histo-morphological studies of 33 operated patients with aseptic necrosis of the femoral head who had been infected with COVID-19. According to the results of this study, microthrombosis and malnutrition of bone tissue can lead to the development of osteonecrosis when endotoxin viruses affect endothelial structures, which are accompanied by the development of inflammation of the vascular wall, as well as increased blood clotting under the influence of pro-inflammatory factors.
