Abstract

This scholarly article provides an in-depth analysis of the role of telemedicine in contemporary healthcare systems, examining its core domains, practical benefits, and the critical challenges impeding its integration. Telemedicine — as a modern method of delivering healthcare services remotely — is revolutionizing the way medical care is accessed and provided. Its relevance and necessity became especially evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when traditional healthcare systems faced unprecedented strain. The study explores global implementations, the significance of digital infrastructure, the effectiveness of virtual interactions between physicians and patients, as well as legal, technical, and cybersecurity challenges. Findings suggest that telemedicine is not only a timely solution to modern health crises but also a cornerstone for the sustainable and innovative evolution of global healthcare.
