Abstract

Penetrating skull and brain injuries are considered severe trauma, often resulting in permanent disability and death. In this article, we describe a case of successful surgical treatment of a rare penetrating transorbital injury to the cerebral hemisphere caused by a metallic foreign body in a 20-year-old patient with no neurological deficit.
