Abstract

This article is dedicated to studying the role of folklorism and its development directions in modern Uzbek literature. Folklorism, which involves the incorporation of elements of folk oral tradition into literature, plays a crucial role in preserving national values and culture. In today’s literature, folklorism is manifested in contemporary interpretations within traditional poetry and prose genres, reflecting the unique customs, values, and life experiences of the people. Through creatively interpreting the national heritage, authors provide readers with a new level of thematic diversity while delving deeper into the inner world of the people. This article highlights the significance of folkloristic elements in modern Uzbek literature, examining the relevance and harmony of traditions and innovations.
