Abstract

This article explores linguo-pedagogical strategies for enhancing vocabulary acquisition among primary school students. Drawing on global research, the study reviews diverse instructional models—ranging from morphemic analysis and contextual learning to music, storytelling, and pictorial methods. It emphasizes vocabulary's critical role in reading comprehension, language development, and academic achievement, especially for English Language Learners. Technological integration and student-centered methods are highlighted as effective tools for vocabulary retention. The study calls for differentiated, context-sensitive instruction, advocating continued innovation and research in vocabulary pedagogy to meet the needs of diverse learners.
