Abstract

This study aimed to explore the relationship between students' interest and their academic achievement in Nigeria. Data from a sample of students from various schools were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. Results showed a significant positive correlation between students' interest and their academic achievement. These findings noted that students' interest plays a crucial role in their academic success and should be considered in educational practices in Nigeria. Additionally, further research is needed to better understand the specific factors that influence students' interest and how it can be effectively fostered by educators. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and educators in promoting academic success among students in Nigeria.
