Migration and Children: Ensuring Social Protection for Children Left Without Parental Care

Abstract

This article analyzes the issues of ensuring social protection of children left without parents in the process of migration. Factors affecting the social, psychological and economic condition of children as a result of migration are considered. Also, the types of assistance provided by state and non-state organizations for these children, existing problems and ways to solve them will be highlighted. Protection mechanisms are analyzed from the point of view of international experience and national legislation, and recommendations for improvement are given.
