Issues of Giving or Not Giving Testimony Against Relatives of the Victim

Abstract
This article analyzes issues related to the witness's voluntary testimony in criminal proceedings. Most importantly, as soon as the victim of the crime is officially recognized as a victim, emphasis is placed on issues related to the refusal to give testimony regarding circumstances related to their close relative - the suspect, accused, or defendant. In this article, along with national and foreign legislation, the opinions of scientists are also analyzed.
