Abstract

Congenital heart defects (CHD) without cyanosis are a group of heart abnormalities that do not cause blood to mix between the systemic and pulmonary circles to such an extent as to cause cyanosis or cyanosis.

The study of the interaction of the immune system with pathological processes has limited application in the context of congenital heart defects, since the main causes of these defects are related to the development of the cardiovascular system during the embryonic period, and not to immune mechanisms.

PURPOSE: To study the concentration of cytokines in children with congenital pallid heart defects

PATIENTS AND METHODS: 28 children diagnosed with white CHD were included. The control group consisted of 28 practically healthy children of similar age. The concentration of interleukins and tumor necrosis factor alpha (IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α) in blood serum was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using test systems of Vector-Best JSC (Novosibirsk, Russia).

RESULTS: hypersecretion of IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α in patients with CHD was established. An increase in the content of the studied mediators of the immune response may be a protective response of the body to stress and tissue damage, but prolonged expression can lead to pathological changes and affect the development and progression of CHD.
