The moral values that researchers found can be implemented in the literature learning process. All moral values found by researchers from the tumongkey wale tradition are relevant to literary learning in short stories, where, a picture of social, cultural, moral, and educational attitudes and humanity is raised there so as to build the life values of students in the process of learning literature. This research is supported by the theory of Elizabeth B. Hurlock, who argues that morals are closely related to culture and morals themselves are an order of habits, culture and customs that apply from a rule that has an orientation towards behavior that has become a habit for the community in the meaning of culture.
