This paper discusses the importance of using modern methods in teaching foreign languages to students pursuing non-philological education. Unlike traditional approaches, methods based on communicative, interactive, multimedia tools, and student-centered activities contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of the learning process. The study analyzes the role of modern pedagogical technologies, information and communication tools, project-based learning, and problem-based teaching methods in practice. It also addresses the challenges faced by students in non-philological fields while learning a foreign language and the ways to overcome these challenges using modern approaches. The conclusion emphasizes that the use of innovative methods in the foreign language teaching process is a crucial factor in developing students' language competencies.
