Abstract

This article analyzes the scientific methodological foundations of developing socio-cultural competence in future teachers of fine arts.

The article highlights the importance of developing teachers' ability to respond appropriately to cultural and social processes, improving their pedagogical skills, and instilling diverse cultural values in students.

The concept of sociocultural competence, how it impacts visual arts education, and how it should be developed in future teachers will be discussed. At the same time, methodological approaches such as a multicultural approach, critical thinking, interactive methods, and the use of technological tools are presented. The article calls on teachers to use the most effective methods in the formation of socio-cultural competence and identifies the role and importance of this process in the future education system
