Abstract

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 represents a landmark reform initiative aimed at transforming the Indian education system. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 introduced by the Government of India marks a significant departure from traditional educational frameworks, aiming to transform the landscape of teaching and learning across schools and higher education institutions. This research article explores the pedagogical approaches advocated by NEP 2020, analyzing their implications for teaching and learning practices in schools and higher education institutions. By examining key policy recommendations and their potential impacts, this study aims to provide insights into how educators can adapt and innovate pedagogically to foster holistic development and prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century. The pedagogical approaches outlined in NEP 2020 represent a paradigm shift towards inclusive, flexible, and quality education.
