Linguistics in 2025 is experiencing a transformative phase, driven by interdisciplinary collaborations and technological innovations. Linguistic research is undergoing rapid transformation fueled by technological advancements and interdisciplinary approaches. This article explores three prominent contemporary trends that have reshaped the study of language: the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into linguistic analysis, the rise of multimodal communication studies, and the incorporation of cognitive neuroscience methods in understanding language processing. These domains collectively offer fresh insights into language structure, usage, and cognition.
