Reading, as One of the İmportant Components in The Study of Russian Language

Abstract

This article considers the role of reading in the process of learning Russian as a foreign language. It is emphasised that reading contributes not only to enriching vocabulary, but also to improving grammatical skills, forming cultural competence and developing critical thinking. Methods and techniques that can be used to improve the effectiveness of reading are described
